WATER MAIN FLUSHING: SOUTH END ONLY: MAY 6th AND 7th FROM 8 A.M. - 6 P.M. This is for addresses south of 249 S. Main St. and it includes Messina Court.

TO LEARN ABOUT TRASH COLLECTION DELAYS BECAUSE OF WEATHER AND MAJOR HOLIDAYS, WE RECOMMEND THAT RESIDENTS SIGN UP FOR E-NEWS ALERTS WITH PENN WASTE THROUGH THEIR WEBSITE OR TO FOLLOW THEIR FACEBOOK PAGE FOR COLLECTION UPDATES.

NEW TRASH CONTRACT: The new contract was awarded to Penn Waste for once a week collection (starting in February) using Penn Waste supplied toters for both trash and recycling. Toters will dark green or brown in color and will be available in three sizes: 96 gallon; 64 gallon or a 35 gallon toter. The recycling toter will have a different color lid. You will be allowed to place two extra bags (must be bagged not loose) beside the toter (or in your own 32 gallon can) each week (if they won't fit in the toter) as well as two extra bags for leaves the months of November, December and January. Penn Waste will not replace or reimburse you if your own container gets damaged/broken. The contract yearly cost is $408.40. You will be allowed one bulky item a week but you must call Penn Waste to schedule the pick up at 717-767-4456. ONCE A WEEK COLLECTION WILL START ON FEBRUARY 2 AND WILL BE ON FRIDAY FROM THAT POINT ON.

You may pay your quarterly water/sewer/trash bill with credit/debit card above but there is a 2.5% fee that the third party credit card company receives. You may also pay using the Bill Pay service through your bank.
